Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. joined by a number of his collegues on Radio Mambi forthe Marta Flores yearly Christmas show. In attendance was Mayor of Miami-Dade CountyCarlos Gimenez, Mayor of the City of Miami Tomas Regalado, Mayor of Hialeah CarlosHernandez, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio, Lt. Governor of Florida Carlos Lopez-Cantera,Miami-Dade County Commissioners Rebecca Sosa and Jose "Pepe" Diaz as well as StateSenator Anitere Flores, City of Miami Commissioner Frank Carollo, School SuperintendentAlberto Carvalho and many more were in attendance.
Chapman Partnership Homeless Shelter
Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr. joined by his family, friends and staff helped spread a littleholiday cheer by visiting the Chapman Partnership Homeless Center and serving ourcommunity. We encourage you to support and volunteer at any of the Homeless Centersin Miami-Dade County.

Toy Distribution at Centro Mater Academy
On Thursday, December 18th in the spirit of the holiday Commissioner Bovo participatedin the Annual Toy Giveaway at Centro Mater Academy. Commissioner Esteban Bovo, Jr.along with Senator Rene Garcia delivered over 50 gifts!

Movie Night at Amelia Earhart Elementary
Commissioner Bovo and State Senator Garcia hosted a movie at Amelia EarhartElementary on Friday the 12th for the community. Children of all ages had a great time.Thanks to all of those that participated, especially to the City of Hialeah Fire Department
Palm Springs North Christmas Festival
Commissioner Esteban Bovo Jr., State Senator Rene Garcia and the Palm Spring NorthCivic Association presented a two-day Christmas Festival on Friday, December 12 andSaturday, December 13 at Norman and Jean Reach Park. The event featured free rides, alive nativity scene, Christmas choirs, and pictures with Santa. Vendors and food truckswere also on site. Attendees were encouraged to bring an unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots,as well as their letters to Santa. This event was possible because of our Head Angel, Barbara Hassall and Mrs. Claus,Mary Ann Engle,PSN civic association member, Pat Collado and my dedicated staff. Norman and Jean Reach Park Staff. Thanks to all that participated and special thanks toall that brought a gift for Toys for Tots.

Commissioner Bovo presented a proclamation congratulating Mater Gardens Academy onreceiving the 2014 National Blue Ribbon School Award. The Blue Ribbon awardrecognizes elementary, middle, and high schools on their overall academic excellence.
Turkey Distribution with Hialeah Fire Rescue
Commissioner Bovo, Jr. along with the City of Hialeah Fire Department distributed turkey'sto families in Distrcit 13.
