SOCIAL BOOKMARKING

Social bookmarking is a tool that allows you to add tags and comments to your bookmarks.

HTML

A mark up language used to structure text and multimedia documents and to set up hypertext links between documents, used extensively on the World Wide Web.

PODCAST

An audio file similar to a radio broadcast, which can be downloaded and listened to on a computer, mp3 player, mobile phone, etc.

VOIP

VoIP is a technology that allows telephone calls to be made over computer networks like the Internet.

ONLINE CHAT

To converse in an easy, familiar manner; talk lightly and casually.

WWW

The complete set of documents residing on all Internet servers that use the HTTP protocol, accessible to users via a simple point-and-click system.

STREAMING

Streaming or media streaming is a technique for transferring data so that it can be processed as a steady and continuous stream. Streaming technologies are becoming increasingly important with the growth of the Internet because most users do not have fast enough access to download large multimedia files quickly.

BLOG

A Web site that contains an online personal journal with reflections, comments, and often hyperlinks provided by the writer.

SOCIAL NETWORKING

A dedicated website or other application that enables users to communicate with each other by posting information, comments, messages, images, etc..
