They Were True In 1776!

“We have it in our power to begin the world over again!”

And they are still true in 2014!

“We have come to a Time for Choosing.” Ronald Reagan 1964.

The Reagan Renaissance Defined

The “Reagan Renaissance” is a term for a plan we envision that will create an environment where Americans will restore the Constitution and get America back on track by ending socialism.

The first key to unlocking the Reagan Renaissance is the “Reagan Wing” of the Republican Party.

The Koch brothers will become the catalysts for this effort.

Page 6: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Done right, it can snowball much faster than most conservatives will even dare to imagine ...

probably in less than a decade.

The Reagan Renaissance

Page 7: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Under our present circumstances, the best way to make a "substantial

change in the law" is to make a substantial change in the lawmakers.

While most conservatives have even quit asking, We have found these answers:

How to convince many office holders to move right.

How to entice people made from the same mold as

Ronald Reagan and the Founding Fathers to seek

election.

How to ensure their electoral victories.

How Freedom and the Constitution can be restored.

Page 8: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

How it Works

Reagan Renaissance Initiatives:

Defeat socialism in the arena of ideas by developing and engaging

America in the “Great Debate.”

Set the priorities for Congress to get America back on track and hold the

members of the House and Senate accountable to the standards

established by the new “Contract with Congress.”

Page 9: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

How it Works

Reagan Renaissance Initiatives:

Enable and unleash “Reagan Wing” Republicans to divide and

conquer the Republican Party and defeat the Democrats.

The task of the Reagan Wing is to move the Republican Party

substantially to the right by systematically eliminating RINOs

and moderates from office.

The Reagan Wing will engage the socialists in the “Great Debate”

and implement and enforce the “Contract with Congress.”

The Reagan Wing will actively recruit, train and fund campaigns for

qualified citizen-statesmen at all levels of government.

Page 10: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Targeting weak Republicans

Divide and conquer is a proven strategy.

Targeting left-leaning and moderate Republicans will shift all

Republicans farther right.

Targeting far-left Democrats will shift all Democrats to the right.

The Reagan Wing of the Republican Party can quickly shift the

legislative balance of power to the right.

The Reagan WingELECTING STATESMEN:

In general, those who seek careers in politics are not going to

be the solution to the problem of ending socialism.

It is going to take citizen-statesmen, patriots exactly

analogous to Ronald Reagan and the Founding Fathers,

to do what is necessary.

Sadly, true statesmen, the kind needed to solve the problems

existing in government, are deterred from running due to

the modern challenges of seeking office.

Page 12: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

The Reagan Wing

Deterrents:

The huge sums required for campaign funding and what is

required to raise it deter high-caliber citizen-statesmen from

coming forward.

Given the certain relentless media scrutiny, criticism and exposure

of their private lives, why would such patriots step up to serve?

Given that they exist, can such individuals be enticed to serve?

Page 13: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

The Reagan Wing

The Reagan Wing will:

Create a political environment where true patriots and citizen-statesmen are inspired to emerge, lead and serve.

Remove the deterrents for seeking office.

Eliminate the need for campaign fund raising.

Funding the Reagan Wing

Excellence in Golf, our golf club innovation, may be capable of providing $300 to $400 million per election cycle.

$400 Million dollars can be raised if each of Rush Limbaugh's motivated listeners contributes $10 annually … $20 per election cycle.

Together, the Kochs and Rush Limbaugh can provide $3.5-$4.0 billion over our five election cycles without traditional fund-raising.

Funding that is independent of the Republican Party and used to elect men similar to Ronald Reagan, the Founders, the Tea Partiers or Republicans like the 1995 Freshmen over the next five election cycles.

Candidate recruiting, training and research

Select and prioritise issues for the Great Debate and a

Contract with Congress for each election

Opponent targeting – Our ‘Red Shift’ begins by making the red

states more red, and then by turning blue states red.

Education is the most important function of the LIACS.

– In the final analysis, the battle to end socialism

will hinge on changing the hearts and minds of the

American people.

“..like a sheep in the herd.”

“Common man does not speculate about the great problems. With regard to them he relies upon other people's authority..”

“And he is ready to change his ideology and consequently his mode of action whenever he becomes convinced that this would better serve his own interests.”

Ludwig von Mises

Education targeted toward the Great Debate:

– Politicians are the only beneficiaries from socialism.

– Socialism is not a moral model.

– Socialism is not an acceptable economic model.

– Socialism is not a Constitutional model.

Electoral change is not the only egg in our basket while Constitutional and legal interpretations are subject to challenge.

Page 19: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Contract with Congress

Differs significantly from the Contract with America:

In the Contract with America, members of Congress agreed to bring

certain issues to the floor for a vote.

Power resided with the members of Congress.

In the Contract with Congress, candidates for Congress will agree to

vote affirmatively for specific issues in order to win election to

seats in Congress.

Power lies with “WE the people”

Page 20: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Contracts with Congress

Designed to put the common good of our national interests

ahead of personal greed for local pork.

Used to focus elections on issues instead of party politics.

Instead of parties or politicians, conservatives from We the

People can set the Congressional agenda.

Framework for the “Great Debate.”

Page 21: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

The Contract with Congress

Suggested Minimum Agreements for the “Contract with Congress”:

1. Complete scrapping of Title 26, Subtitle A - Income Taxes.

2. Replacement of the Income Tax with Tariffs, a Sales Tax, or a combination of

the two.

3. The growth of government spending is unacceptable. We not only want it

stopped, We demand that it be reversed by cutting every government agency

by at least 5 per cent per year for at least the next two years. The goal is the

phased abolition of most Cabinet-level departments. In 2016, We will re-

evaluate to determine whether or not the rate of reduction should be adjusted

for future years.

Page 22: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

The Contract with Congress

4. No more socialism. That means no new payments to individuals except for services rendered or goods purchased. That means no new grants to organizations, public or private, and no new grants to state or local governments.

5. Immediately make participation in Social Security a matter of individual personal choice.

6. Appointment of a Presidential commission to initiate the abolition of Medicare, Medicaid and every other social welfare program.

Page 23: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

The Kochs and Rush are the Keys to the Reagan Wing

- It will take men like Ronald Reagan and the Founders (Reagan

Wing of the Republican Party) to restore the Constitution.

- Campaign fund raising and party/platform politics are major

barriers to seeking office.

- Focused, conservative agendas and our non-traditional

funding of their campaigns remove the barriers and provide

incentives.

Page 24: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

Why Rush?

Rush Limbaugh has his own version of the “Bully Pulpit”

Rush is the only one who can tap his audience's resources with

certainty to finance the “Reagan Wing,” one of the keys needed to

unlock the Reagan Renaissance for all Americans.

Rush has the skill, contacts, experience, personality and the

affection of the conservative public. These are the exact intangible

qualities needed to help make it work within the only window of

opportunity that may ever exist.

Page 25: Common Sense Thomas Paine What were the inspirational words that sparked the Declaration of Independence?

When? Who? How?

How quickly?

– Five Congressional elections or less, roughly a

decade before we will be faced by the most serious

threats from the unfunded Social Security liabilities.

Unfortunately, having the answers does not equate to our being able to provide the solution.

That's where the Kochs and Limbaugh come in.

In Conclusion for

Our Political Reforms

Ronald Reagan's best efforts and the 1994 off-year election proved that political effectiveness alone is not enough...

Before leaving our political reforms to

tackle our second key, Economic Freedom,

and before taking a short break...
