GLOBALG.A.P. FEE TABLE EDITION UPDATE 2015 Dear Scheme Manager, An updated version of the GLOBALG.A.P. Fee Table is published. The new Fee Table is obligatory from 15th March 2015. In this letter we would like to provide you with an overview of the changes. All these changes are implemented in the international and well as in the North America Fee Tables. The following fees are changed: NEW STANDARDS AND VERSIONS INTRODUCED 1) Harmonized Produce Safety Standard (HPSS) The new, recently launched HPSS is included. The fees are the same as the Integrated Farm Assurance (IFA) Standard for the Scope Crops Based and Sub-Scope Fruit & Vegetables. 2) Chain of Custody Standard (CoC) version 5. The fee for the CoC Standard is modified according to a new concept as written in the new GLOBALG.A.P. Chain of Custody version 5.0. The GLOBALG.A.P. Bookmarking Tool is a voluntary option to use and not a base for the fee calculation anymore. Instead, a 250 EUR per producer/company annual registration fee is introduced. Additionally, a 25 EUR annual Certification License Fee is introduced to harmonize the CoC fee structure with the general fee approach for all other standards in the new CoC version 5. These new fees are applicable only to the CoC version 5 certificates. For the current version 4 CoC certificates, the current CoC fee applies. 3) Livestock Transport (LT) The new livestock transport standard (V1.0) fee is launched. The registration fee is set at 100 EUR per producer annually. PRODUCER REGISTRATION FEE 1) Producer Registration Fee for very small producers (Crops-Based)

A new size-related fee (< 0.1 ha) category is introduced to facilitate GLOBALG.A.P. certification for very small-scale farmers. For covered production this registration fee is 0,25 EUR and for open production it is 0,10 EUR. 2) Flowers and Ornamentals and Plant Propagation Material (PPM) Due to more specific standard development and a lower implementation rate, the fee for Flowers and Ornamentals and PPM is increased (Covered: 50 EUR up to 5,000 EUR, Non-Covered: 20 EUR up to 5,000 EUR per producer and year). 3) Sprouts A new flat fee of 1550 EUR is introduced for sprout producers. This fee is charged in addition to the size-related Producer Registration Fee. It includes voluntary membership after signing up. The increased fee will be used to develop sprout specific modules covering the special circumstances, the associated risk of sprout production, and to develop a robust system for sprout certification including a working group that will help with the development of a standard for sprout seed safety. 4) Compound Feed Manufacturing (CFM) The registration fee for Compound Feed Manufacturing is now adapted to larger company sizes. The present fee table stopped at an Annual Production Quantity of more than 50,000 tons. The flat fee of 1,000 EUR was applicable for all the companies with higher annual production quantity. Experience shows that several companies certified have a much higher annual production quantity. Therefore, the fee is increased for companies with an annual production quantity of more than 50,000 tons to 1,000 EUR per year, more than 100,000 tons to 1,500 EUR per year, and more than 200,000 tons to 2,000 EUR per year. BENCHMARKING The benchmarking administration fee structure is changed. The re-benchmarking fee and voluntary membership is now included in the base administration fee. The annual base fee is 4000 EUR for Approved Modified Checklist (AMC) and 6000 EUR for Benchmarked Schemes. The annual base fees are valid form 1st January 2015. GLOBALG.A.P. North America These changes have been adopted in the GLOBALG.A.P. North America Fee table as well. These updated Fee Tables are replacing the
