2009—2010 Confirmation Class

Classes have begun for those REY students seeking to receive the Sacrament of Confir-mation at Newman. Classes meet on a bi-monthly schedule throughout the school year. This year we are going to be coordinating certain aspects of our program with the Confirmation classes at Most Holy Redeemer Parish in Hadley. At Newman, the REY Confirmandi traditionally receive the sacrament of Confirmation in the early autumn. Anyone who is currently not registered should contact Frank Lawlor as soon as possible at 413 549-0300 ext. 12.

Calling All Catechists! Have you been looking for a way to get involved? The Newman REY program has at least one catechist for each class but we would like to add a second teacher to some grades and to have a few flexible substitutes. A commit-ment of an hour or two a week would be a great gift to the future leaders of our church. For information please check out our web site or contact Frank. Our email address is [email protected].

EUCHARISTIC MINISTERS ARE NEEDED!

• Have you ever considered serving as an Extraordi-nary Minister of the Eucharist?

• Is now your time?
