Introduction India bears nearly one fourth of the global cervical cancer burden. Absence of organised population based cancer screening program Majority of cases are detected at advanced stages Cytology based screening is not feasible in India for logistics reasons Hence, low-cost, effective and appropriate alternatives are being tried.
