Community Energy Champions Needed The United Sustainable Energy Agency in collaboration with Buckinghamshire County and District Councils are running a free programme to help you to reduce your own energy costs and to help your friends, family, neighbours and colleagues to do the same. At this time of year when we receive large energy bills, thoughts turn to how we can lower our costs and use less energy. It can be very easy to reduce energy costs by making some quick and simple changes – and this will also benefit the environment we live in by reducing our carbon footprint. So how can I make a difference? Why don’t you register to become a Community Energy Champion? Find details in the attached flyer. It’s easy to fit into your routine, particularly if you are already a member of a club, group or organisation that meets with others in the community. You will be given initial training, a toolkit of information and continued support to help you to help the people around you to reduce their energy bills. We hope to review and celebrate what we have collectively achieved in Oct/Nov. Count me in, what do I have to do now?
