Community gardens are important places for people and their communities.

People grow food, meet and talk with friends, relax, enjoy nature and exercise.

The Deli store around the corner from Greene Ave and Malcolm X Blvd.

I interview the guy from deli store he said It’s a quaint, quiet neighborhood with unique homes, diverse residents, and plenty of history.

He also mention Biking is a very popular way to get around within the nearby areas. There are so many restaurants and attractions nearby, that for some residents, walking is an easy way to get the area.

This Beautiful small community garden is located on Greene avenue and Malcolm X blvd the Bed-Stuy area of Brooklyn.

Bedford-Stuyvesant located at section of Brooklyn, this 3,200-square-foot garden serves a neighborhood comprised primarily of single and multi family homes and is within walking distance of several public schools.

The deli & Restaurant in front of community garden is out of business.

The guy who I interview said deli and restaurant, went to out of business Known for its fresh sandwiches, salads and house made baked goods and desserts. Eat in or take out.

I spend 6 hour to observing ,community garden and interview from different people.

Historical Building I also study a bit more about

bedford area. Bedford became home to many immigrants, particularly from the South of the US, Latin America, and the West Indies. 

The historic buildings and homes located in near by Bedford is most of them is 90 years old.

A small lot of beautifull garden this space is using by

group of neighborhood gardeners to raise vegetables and herbs, such as heirloom tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, basil and oregano.

The garden IS beautifully created with generous support and with the help of local community groups.
