Phase Two will commence mid January 2016 at the corner of Windsor Rd and Old Northern Road and continue up Old Northern Road to Olive Street. Council’s contractor Landscape Solutions will carry out improvements to the footway area including the installation of new footpaths, seating, landscaping, signage and banner poles within the Town Centre.
The Hills Shire Council recognises the valuable services community organisations provide to The Hills local community and supports these non-profit organisations and community groups through our Grants and Donations program.
Grants are being offered in the categories of General (including cultural, sports and recreation), Volunteer Development and Community Facility Support between $530—5,280 and up to $15,000 for Community Events.

Round 2 of 3 of the 2015-2016 Hills ClubGRANTS (Category 1) funding round will open on Monday 11 January 2016 and close on Friday 12 February 2016. Applications are invited from local community based organisations for projects or services that contribute to the welfare and broader social fabric of the local Hills community. Projects qualifying for Category 1 funding may include community welfare and social services, community development, community health and employment assisting strategies.
