The purpose of the USAG Japan Community Information Exchange (CIE) is to allow organizations to discuss services and support provided to the Community. This forum facilitates dialogue and an opportunity for units to obtain Community information to take back to their Soldiers, Family Members, Civilians and Retirees.

1. No late submissions will be accepted unless approved by Garrison Commander. A slide is required.

2.Submit issues, questions or concerns 2 weeks prior to CIE to allow Garrison Agencies an opportunity to research and respond. (26 Feb)

3.2-3 Slides Max – Font ARIAL – Minimum Pitch 18. Submit slides 2 weeks prior to CIE for Garrison Commander’s review. Submissions will be returned to agencies for corrections.

Effective immediately, temperature adjustments to existing AR420-1 Chapter 22, Par (b) are as follows:

During heating season, the following temperatures will be provided: NEW TEMPS OLD TEMPS

- during working hours: 68°F / 20°C 70~74°F / 21~23°C - during unoccupied times: 55°F / 12°C 50~60°F / 10~18°C

During cooling season, the following temperatures will be provided:

- for occupied working / living spaces: 78°F / 25°C 72~76°F / 22~24°C - during unoccupied times: 85°F / 29°C 80~90°F / 26~32°C

Disaster Trainer & Workers

The Camp Zama Red Cross is looking for volunteers willing to help the community prepare for disasters. Specifically we are looking for people eager to take advanced training to support our education programs in the schools and our awareness campaigns in the community. We also need a large number of volunteers to support the earthquake exercise in July.
