The following employees were recognized: 25 years: Janice Bestul Jason Severson 20 years: Mark Krenik Neal Pederson and Emily were very apprecia- tive of his actions being recog- nized. Cody was presented with a challenge coin, certificate of bravery and some other good- ies from the departments. Cody On Wednesday, Officers Josh Alexander, Matt Shuda, Matt Kolling, Bill Considine, Sarah Tollefson, Spencer Angle, Brad Arens, Ser- geant Brandon Gliem, FFD Firefighter Alex Bolster, Captain Joel Hansen, and North Ambulance Medics Sue Ernste and Matt Mullen- bach met with 7-year-old Cody Johnson. Earlier this month, they responded to a medical emergency involving Cody’s mom, Emily. After finding his mom unconscious, Cody was able to take life-saving action to help her, and then notified nearby adults who called 911. Bravery Recognized

This week, Sarah Rysdam of Girl

Scout Troop 27370 and her

brother Adam dropped off a

box of donated Girl Scout cook-

ies. They were very excited to

meet Chief Bohlen!

This week, Officer Michael

Shuda was recognized by

MADD with their Bronze

Award. This award is presented

to officers, deputies and troop-

ers who have arrested 25-49

impaired drivers in the past

year.

To help reduce the potential of virus spread, we are accepting

“Permit to Purchase” electronically

as well as in person.

Our lobby is back open, but we encourage people to continue

conducting business through phone and/or email. If we can help you through phone/email, we’ll do our

best. Masks are now required in

our public lobby.

We have also removed Take It to the Box to reduce potential spread

of the virus.

Predatory offenders are not ex-cused from updating their infor-mation. They should contact Capt. Pederson at 334-0921 to schedule

an appointment to submit changes.

While the events of the past few weeks may be upsetting, we ask

everyone for a little more patience and a little more calm. We are here to do our part to help every-

one get through this.

Officer Awarded

The letter also noted that the

Giarretta’s have sent out

15,500 letters so far! They plan

to continue until their message

is seen by officers across the

country.

On Thursday, we received an

encouraging letter from John &

Barbara Giarretta of New Jer-

sey. The letter, addressed to all

law enforcement agencies

across the USA, expressed

their thanks and well-wishes to

officers.
