What is Community Involvement?

• Community Involvement is about giving you the

opportunity to have a say in the way that we provide

your services

• It offers you the chance to influence decisions that

affect your home, community and the housing service

that you receive

• Getting involved can take as little or as much time as

you wish to give

How we will help you…….

We offer a variety of involvement options to suit you which allows you to give as much time as you can spare

We can assist with:

• Payments to cover any reasonable travel costs incurred and assistance in arranging transport through our Tenants Expenses Policy

• Payments towards childcare to enable you to attend meetings

• Arranging for documents to be translated into different languages, large print, Braille or audio

• Ensure communication methods are effective – for example, arranging for an interpreter to attend a meeting

• Provide training and funding to help you get involved.

• We produce an annual impact assessment

document each year to show you how you

have made an impact on services and your

community.

• It also shows whether you believe what we

have delivered offers VFM.

• Our new Scrutiny Pool will also allow you to
