NATIONALLY:
1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have been victims of physical violence by an intimate partner within their lifetime.
In the United States, more than 4 children die from child abuse and neglect on a daily basis. Over 70% of these children are below the age of 3.
1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys will be sexually abused before they turn 18 years old. On an average, ap-proximately 500 women a day are raped or sexually assaulted in the United States. Annually, rape costs the U.S. more than any other crime ($127 billion).
Approximately 1 in 10 Americans aged 60+ have experienced some form of elder abuse; with estimates ranging as high as 5 million elders who are abused each year.
(2014-2016)
More than 2,880 domestic violence calls for help were received by law enforcement.
Over 3,400 referrals were received by Child Welfare Services.
More than 1,100 referrals were received by Older and Disabled Adults Services.

The Solano Family Justice Center
(SFJC) is a place where victims and survivors of family violence can get
assistance from many different agencies located under one roof.
We are here to offer help and hope for victims and survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse, and elder and
dependent adult abuse. We can provide assistance with fil l ing out restraining order
applications, go with you to support you during your court appearance and help you
to access other needed services.
The Solano Family Justice Center’s diverse and professional staff are here to ensure you receive
services in a safe, secure place designed to provide you the help you need to break the cycle of
violence.
Our goal is to offer victims and survivors the opportunity to build hope and new futures free
from violence.
