ECO Garden

Our mission is to promote and support opportunities that encourage children to engage with and experience the outdoors. Youth have the opportunity to engage in hands-on gardening activities. Edible gardening is a great way for students to achieve physical activity while learning about fruits and vegetables. Gardening labs meet state curriculum standards.

The Dental Initiative Elgin Childrens Foundation identifies where dental care is insufficient and needed. Elgin wants children to learn the importance of health and wellness, and that begins with their teeth. The foundation facilitates dental care through local school systems, charitable organizations, and volunteers to ensure these young patients will continue to see a dentist for basic, and, if needed, critical dental care. Elgin looks for children who cant afford a dental visit, are underserved, or at economic risk.
