• Speakers will get emails from [email protected] informing them of eligible speaking opportunities

– Individual solicitations

– Group solicitations

• If you are available click the link to accept the engagement

• The first speaker who is available and clicks the link will be the speaker for the event.

• You will get a confirmation email with the event details and United Way contact

• You will hear from United Way contact prior to event

• You will receive a survey after the event for feedback

• Slightly more extended description of agency’s work in designated impact area

• Success story about of an individual or family who used your services

• How does United Way help you accomplish your goals?

• Select your purpose: inform, educate, entertain, inspire, convince

• Consider what are the expectations of your audience

Organize your presentation: • Opening capture audience’s attention and lead into topic

• Call for action ask your audience to give, advocate and/or volunteer
