  • HISTORYWe are a food safetyand quality training and consultancyservice provider

    dedicated to toughening the local food economybyimprovingfood safety

    and quality standards, thereby strengthening trade on the local market

    andenabling export opportunitieson theglobal market.

    Our mission at Entecom is to improve food safety and qualitystandards

    across the food chain, firstly in ourown country,and then expandingour

    services into other African countries.

    Founded in 2005 by Janice Giddy with the purpose of serving thefishing

    industry in the Eastern Cape to comply with EU HACCP requirements, the

    company has since franchised and now serves the entire food chain across

    all regions in South Africa.

    Entecom has experienced significant growth as a result of the passionate

    entrepreneurs who have joined the Entecom family as franchisees and are

    dedicated and committed to our mission to improve food safety and quality

    standards and help the companies we work with do things smarter.

    A more dedicated team of experts is hard to find. We believe in changing

    the way people think about food safety and quality through our dynamic

    innovative approach influencing behaviours and making employees and

    Janice is the Managing Director of the ENTECOM

    franchise and has a B.Sc (Nature Sciences). She

    founded Entecom in 2005 and since then together

    with her team, have expanded Entecom from the

    Eastern Cape across all regions in South Africa.

    Tanya is a new addition to the

    Entecom family as a telesales and

    marketing co-ordinator.Those that

    are fortunate enough to cross her

    path, will find Tanya a lively, bubbly

    personality, oozing fun and charm

    and always willing to go the extra

    mile.

    Selmarie Wessels Rika Bouillon

    Selmarie joined the Entecom team in

    2015, with 8 years' practical

    bookkeeping experience and 3 years

    secretarial & financial administration.

    She has an NQF6 certificate in Small

    Business Management as well as a

    Bookkeeping and a Value Added Tax

    certificate from UNISA.

    Rika has 8 years experience as an

    Industrial Inspector / Senior

    Administration Clerk with the

    Department of Labour.Rika is

    responsible for admin functions and

    training coordination. Rika is one of

    those scarce individuals who loves

    admin and thankfully she manages

    the admin function with a

    no-nonsense attitude that keeps us

    all on our toes.

    and has a post-graduate Diploma in Financial

    Planning CFP. He has been involved in various

    business entities for more than 20 years and

    currently heads up business support and

    Richard has a National Diploma in

    Food Technology from Cape

    Peninsula University of Technology,

    cum laude. Richard assists clients

    Safety Management Systems,

    coaches and mentorsfood safety

    teamsand is anenthusiastic,

    dedicated and talented facilitator.

    Azelle has 18 years experience in the food and

    beverage industry. She is currently a freelance

    facilitator, assessor and moderator registered with

    FoodBev SETA. Anzelle also thoroughly enjoys

    facilitating our Food Hygiene awareness and GMP

    courses.

    Mthokozisi, or MT, studied B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture

    specializing in Food Chemistry and Technology

    (University Of Pretoria) , Business Management and

    Administration (Regent Business School and

    MANCOSA) as well as Marketing Management (UNISA).

    MT just loves working with people and is dynamic

    facilitator who motivates and influences staff to think

    differently about food safety.

    Angela has owned the Entecom East London Franchise since 2009. She has a Bachelor of Technology degree in

    Environmental Health, cum laude. This incredibly talented lady who knuckles down and gets things done without a

    fuss, is often described as the best facilitator they have ever heard. Her relaxed but professional approach ensures that

    her clients feel less stressed and more in control when facing audits.

    Rolf UysEstee de Villiers

    Rolf is co-owner of the Tshwane

    and Western Cape Franchises. He

    holds a B.Sc.Honours degree from

    UOFS and a MSc. Food Science

    degree from the University of

    Stellenbosch. He joins us after

    being manager of Africa, Middle

    East and Europe at AIB

    international. TheAIB

    appointmentincluded food safety

    auditing and training in more than

    60 countries over a 15 year period.

    He is fast becoming a legend in the

    food industry.

    Estee completed a B.Sc. Food

    Management and Hospitality degree

    from the University of Pretoria. She has

    worked for several high profile FMCG

    companies in the bakery and

    convenience food industries and has

    experience in R&D, Production as well

    as the the Implementation and

    maintenance of Food Safety & Quality

    systems.. Estee is a Qualified Lead

    Auditor in Food Safety Systems and has

    a flair for IT systems.

    Karel is a qualified food

    technologist with over 20 years

    experience in the food

    manufacturing industry, where he

    held various positions as Factory

    Technologist & QA Manager.

    Industries include extruded maize

    snacks, powdered drinks, fish &

    seafood, specialty deli meats, pet

    food and prepared & packed

    vegetables/ salads/ party foods for

    Woolworths.

  • Louis holds a LLB degree and is the Operations

    Manager and Facilitator of the KZN branch. He has

    been involved in various consulting and employers

    organizations and specializes in Labour Law; Human

    Resources systems, processes and Health and Safety

    training and consulting. With his understanding and

    practical experience with labour legislation Louis is

    responsible for all labour advice and consulting,

    training and assistance to clients in KZN. Louis has

    been instrumental in the development of the HR and

    Health and Safety Modules in our Tempo compliance

    software with continual updates and assurance of

    best practices.Louis also conducts Ethical Trading

    SMETA / Sedex and HR / Labour GAP audits.

    Vuyo has a B.Sc (Microbiology, Biochemistry and Psychology) and has

    over 19 years FMCG experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and

    food industries. A Qualified Trainer and Assessor she is a dynamic and

    popular motivational speaker. An advocate of paperless systems and

    ambassador of the Tempo Compliance Software Vuyo has a flair for

    customization with simplicity and practicality.

    .Janice has a B.Soc Science MLL in Labour Law /

    Industrial Relations. She has extensive knowledge

    and experience in compliance and compliance

    systems in Quality, Food Safety, Health and

    Safety, Human Resources and Ethical Trading. She

    was the founding member of the first consultancy

    company in 1998, now incorporated under

    Entecom.She is the Project Manager for the

    implementation of Tempo software in numerous

    companies, including Pioneer Foods Groceries.

    Client liaison for all medium to large clients. Janice

    hasenergy and enthusiasm that motivates all of

    those that are privileged to work with her.

    Aileen studied Molecular Cellular

    Microbiology at the University of

    Stellenbosch. Her experience in the

    food industry includes working in

    research and development, quality

    control and quality assurance.

    Aileen is a perfectionist with a keen

    eye for detail. Nothing but the

    absolute best is good enough for

    those clients who work with this

    dynamic lady.

    Aileen Uys Rolf Uys Anzelle Spreeth

    Rolf Uys is co- owner of the Western

    Cape franchise. Together with

    Aileen, his wife they make a

    formidable team. His full profile is

    shown under the Tshwane franchise

    of which he is also a co-owner.

    Anzelle studied B.Sc Microbiology

    and completed her Honours

    degree at the University of

    Pretoria. Anzelle has an unusual

    combination of skills and gets

    difficult thingsdone. Those clients

    that work with her know

    instinctively that they are in good

    hands and that she keeps her

    promises.

    Mtho has experience in 3rd party auditing in ISO 9001, ISO

    14001, OHSAS 18001 and Food Safety.He was instrumental

    in the successful implementation of HACCP, ISO 14001 and

    the Coca-Cola management systems at Delta Beverages.

    He has qualifications in Applied Chemical Technology,

    Quality Assurance Diploma, Management Development

    Program and a B.Com. He is also aqualified Lead Auditor

    in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHAS 18001 and HACCP.
