Project Completions - Commercial

Wendron House – Council Offices------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Name Wendron HouseProject Location WorcestershireContract Value £600,000Duration 12 months------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Details: The complete conversion of a Grade 2 listed building, sympathetically restoring council offices into a private dwelling.

We partnered with the architect and project managed the completion.

The site wasn’t without complications as the building had laid empty for two years, resulting in damp and damage with a water well also discovered under the kitchen floor.

We provided virtually every trade from initial strip out and demolition works, through to reconfiguration and refurbishment which included a complete new heating system, re-wire, and bespoke joinery throughout.

In addition we provided roofing works, brickwork, plastering, decoration and flooring.

Project Completions – Hotel & Leisure

Hogarths – Outdoor Wedding Venue------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Name HogarthsProject Location Kidderminster, West MidlandsContract Value £60,000Duration 4 months---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Details: Set within 27 acres of woodland, we removed an aged swimming pool to create a unique, bespoke, outdoor wedding venue.

The original pump house and changing rooms were retained and improved to create a civil ceremony facility.The swimming pool and surrounding areas were fullylandscaped to form borders and seating areas, along with paths and water features. Behind the main paved areas, we set out four areas to create a ‘fairy tale’ venue while blending the space and zones seamlessly.

LED lighting and audio equipment were installed to provide a full entertainments system.

We successfully linked the new wedding area back to the hotel, installing ramps, and paths before finally erecting new marquees for the guests to be seated in comfort whilst ceremonies are carried out.

Salvation Army – Approved Contractors------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Name Salvation Army Hall Project Location StaffordContract Value £320,000Duration 7 months---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Details: The rebuild of a Salvation Army Hall following an arson attack.

This was a complex project that maximised the team’s various trades and skills. We completely reconstructed the previous building, incorporating stunning features including huge A frames to create a vast vaulted ceilingWe dry lined walls and installed space saving underfloor heating throughout. Internally the building undertook major alterations including a new larger kitchen, a second hall to enable the facility to host more than one event, and the supply of ample storage. Despite project changes and additions, the building was completed on time and on budget. In recognition of our commitment to the project, we were invited to the official opening and presented with a special edition Salvation Army coin.

Linda Downward, The officer in charge of the centre, said: ’It is a real milestone for us. The centre looks amazing, so much better than we could have expected.’

Project Completions – Conversion

With a tight predetermined time scale of only six months this was a project that required meticulous planning, teamwork and military style organisation.

Peeling away layers and years of neglect, unravelled hidden horrors from previous workmanship.

We fully reconfigured and refurbished every part of this stunning old building. Installing new drainage, purpose built oak joinery, plumbing and air conditioning to make this building safe and fit for purpose once more.

We worked closely with sound proofing experts to produce a dual purpose building of the highest quality, deadening any sound from the nursery into the flats above.

Project Completions – Barn Conversion

Barn Conversion------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Name Barn ConversionProject Location WarwickshireContract Value £800,000Duration 12 months---------------------------------------------------------------------------------Project Details: The full transformation of an existing barn to create a deluxe contemporary family home.Tapster Barn was built under a permitted development right which started with the complete underpinning of the perimeter of the existing concrete raft and foundations.

From here the building was then set out with timbers using laser levels to ensure accuracy, with the existing roof being replaced with a TATA urban Colourcoat.

Full internal works were completed including electrics, plumbing and polished concrete floors, with attention being paid to insulation and soundproofing.

A high end state of the art kitchen was installed, deluxe sumptuous bathrooms, tiling, carpentry and chic designer decoration throughout.

The project will be complete with landscaping, outdoor patios and relaxation areas to maximise the stunning elevated position and far reaching rural views.

Gas Safe Plumbing
