COMPANY HISTORY
Ledonne Constructions Pty Ltd was registered as a company on 10
th June 1986. Prior to that date,
the firm traded as Allawah Constructions, a partnership with three partners. Two of the partners
retired, and the third, Mr. Tony Ledonne remained and is now the Managing Director of Ledonne
Constructions.
The partnership and subsequent company has been contracting to the NSW Public Works,
Sydney Water Corporation, Hunter Water Corporation, local and regional NSW councils, and the
private sector for the construction of the following works for the last 39 years:
sewer supply pipelines
sewerage pumping stations,
pressure sewer systems,
water supply pipelines,
water pumping stations,
stormwater pipelines,
treatment works,
telecommunication services,
tunnelling, pipe jacking, directional drilling, and thrust boring,
associated building works, earthworks, and road construction.
Our head office is at Carlton in Sydney and we also have a North East NSW regional depot at South Grafton and a plant and transport workshop at Somersby on the NSW Central Coast.

machinery. Responsible for the scheduled maintenance of the company’s motor vehicles, construction plant and machinery and the management of the Company’s workshop and storage yard.
Others: In addition to the above management positions, the
company employs five plant operators and six tradesman, pipelayers, labourers and apprentices. All employees have varying degrees of experience in sewerage and water supply construction, and have completed various training courses such as pipe manufacturer’s pipelaying, environmental and land care awareness, WHS and confined spaces.

QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Ledonne Constructions is committed to the quality management of our processes and has
developed a Quality Management System to AS/NZS ISO 9001:2008.
Our system has achieved third party accreditation with QMS Certification Services Pty Ltd and has
been certified with an expiry date of 21 April 2016. Prior to that, our system was accredited by NCS
International Pty Ltd and earlier by Quality Assurance Services to AS/NZS ISO 9002.
WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY MANAGEMENT
Ledonne Constructions is committed to sound WHS practices. As such, we have developed an
WHS Management System in compliance with the Work Health and Safety Act, 2011, and the
Workers Compensation Act, 2010.
Ledonne Constructions’ WMS conforms to AS/NZS 4801:2001 and is certified by QMS Certification
Services Pty Ltd with an expiry date of 21 April 2016. It is accredited to the Federal Government
Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme and the NSW Government OH&SMS
Guidelines (4th Edition) by NSW Public Works.
ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT
The management and staff of Ledonne Constructions are committed to the conservation of the
environment and minimising impact during construction of our works.
We have a wealth of experience in successfully undertaking construction in environmentally
sensitive areas such as The Royal National Park, Blue Mountains, Central Coast, South Coast,
Sutherland, Smiths Lake, etc.
Our Environmental Management System has been accredited by NSW Public Works to the NSW
Government Environmental Management System Guidelines derived in accordance with Australian
