Nkukhu Box is a brand that embraces and aims to tell our own African colourful stories to the world. A true African township brand that focus on authentic ‘Kasi’ taste.
The name “Nkukhu” is a well known name in most African languages meaning “chicken” what we do NkukhuBoxisahomeofgrilledchickenembracingKasi“township”flavoursandlifestyle. We bring quality food and flavours’ originating from our own Kasi’s,inspired by our own stories and origin. We are a proud fast food brand born from African township “e’Kasi”, with an understanding of the township pallet and needs.
Nkukhu Box is a well supported grilled chicken fast food franchise brand. Our menu is developed withaclearunderstandingofAfricanflavoursandpreferences.Weareabrandthatcreatesand cherish food memories. We not only we serve amazing, tantalising quality food, but we provide an eating experience.

With the first Nkukhu Box store launched inMamelodiTownship,Pretoria,oneofmanyfamoustownships in South Africa, we plan on bringing the brand to every other Kasi.
The brand is set to move to every Kasi providing high quality fast food & service that we can be proud of, as being our own fast food creation and flavoursthatwetoocanintroducetoothernationsthroughout the world. “Grilled chicken flavours done the Kasi way”
Vertical integration is our aimed company’s general strategy. This is one method of avoiding the hold-upproblem.Anotherbenefit is thatwewillbe incontrol of the quality in all our products and keep cost at a minimum. This will intern benefit ourconsumers and franchisees.
Africa’s townships are alive with music, fashion, art, history and diverse cultures and socio economic challenges, as well as a wide variety of tasty food dishes. It is this great combination of vibes and stories that exist and they are to be told through Nkukhu Box eating experience.
We aim to change and become leaders of township fast food industry. We want become a household brand in every Kasi.
We will operate our company on a sustainable financial basis of profitable growth to benefitboth franchisor and franchisee. We will continue increasing value for our stakeholders and expanding opportunities for development of previously disadvantaged communities & career growth for our employees.

our business model6.Our company’s business model is “decentralized”, resulting in utilizing individuals with a variety of expertise and knowledge for running various business operations. A broad-based management team helps to ensure the company has knowledgeable directors or managers to handle various types of business situations. We franchise our operation and impose very tight controls over franchise stores and suppliers but without limiting growth. Franchisees can range in size from individuals owning just one store to large companies or co-ops wishing to own multiple units. The company’s most important role is to maintain consistency of standards. This will be done by continually investing in central distribution kitchens, food testing and training centres in all major areas where we have a large foot print.
The franchise program of the Company is designed to assure consistency and quality, and the Company is selective in granting franchises. Under our standard franchise agreements, franchisees supply capital – initially by paying a franchise fee toNkukhu BoxHeadOffice,purchasing or leasing the land on which the mobile store will be placed, and paying for the equipment and signs, seating, inventories and supplies and, over the longer term, by reinvesting in the business. Franchisees are expected to contribute to the Company’s revenues through the payment of royalties based on a percentage of sales. The company also exerts a lot of control over site selection, site control and marketing.
