Company Milestones13 October, 2006X INFOTECH SIA was established by five associates with the 10 years’ professional background in the banking card business and IT.

2007The company started with the distribution of partner products and personalization solutions. The first milestone for X Infotech resulted to be the consulting project for SAMA (Saudi Arabia Monetary Agency) in Saudi Arabia.

2008X Infotech successfully implemented its first EMV software project for Xponcard, Poland(now Oberthur Technologies).

2009X Infotech developed the first software module for payment cards by the employees who still work for the company today in 2017.

2010Self investing in R&D and forming a team, the company opened the office in Africa (Nairobi, Kenya). At that moment X Infotech served 70 customers in 28 countries. In the same year, the complete personalization solution for banking EMV cards was launched.

2012X Infotech was encouraged to pursue greater solution diversification and entered the government eID market (8 customers in 7 countries). Meanwhile, the company continued to expand its geographic footprint with the eID and EMV personalization solutions in Europe, Asia and Central America (eID card in Cambodia, Beba Pay card in Kenya, EMV personalization solutions in Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and Bangladesh).

2013X Infotech implemented the ePassport projects in Liechtenstein and Ireland, as well as entered the mobile market with the banking project for the leading bank in Eastern Africa.

2014X Infotech allocated 50% of resources to R&D activities to work on and improve PKI and Biometric solutions.

2015X Infotech entered the Latin American market and supplied software solutions for ePassport and eID card projects in Uruguay. The same year X Infotech was awarded with Export and Innovation Award “Best exporter 2014” as well as developed a mobile verification solution for NFC-equipped Android phones. The company became a turnkey solution supplier for eID/ePassport projects with the widest solution portfolio in the eID industry.

2016The company recruited business development representatives for Latin America, North and West Africa, making its geographic diversification a key priority. X Infotech was granted “Best Exporter 2016” and “Best Employer 2016” awards, and renewed the certificates ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management System) and ISO 14001-2015 (Environmental Management System).

2017Today X Infotech serves hundreds of clients in more than 45 countries with the widest product portfolio for eID and EMV markets.
