ELIZAVETA TUKTAMISHEVA

Elizaveta started skating at the age of 4; she was born on

December 17th 1996, Elizaveta was born in Glazov, Russia.

Elizaveta is coached by Svetlana Veretennikova where she

appeared at competitions in Belgorod, in Belgorod Alexei Mishin

saw Elizaveta skate and thought that her technique was

incomplete and declined her to join his group. Sometime later he

saw her again and reassessed her abilities, allowing her to join

the team, because of her ability to “jump high". In 2009 Elizaveta

got a silver medal at the Russian Championships, she also placed

4th in her short program and 1st in her free skating.

ADELINA SOTNIKOVA

Adelina Sotnikova started skating at the age of 4 at Yuzhny

skating rink near her home in Moscow, Russia. At the age of 8 she

was coached and still is by Elena Buianova (Yodorezova). In 2009

Adelina competed at the Russian Championships and got 1st at

the age of 12. The club that she skates with is named CSKA

Moscow. Apparently according to the ISU age rules Adelina isn’t

allowed to skate at the senior world or European championships

until 2013. This year she won 3rd at the 2012 Cup of China due to

her leg injury. Just recently she won 2nd in the Youth Olympic

Games in Innsbruck, to her teammate Elizaveta got 1st.

ZIJUN LI

Zijun Li is the last person on which I’ll be writing on, she was born on

December 14, 1996 in China. Her coach is Meng Di. She skates at the

Jilin winter sports center in China. At the Junior Grand Prix Final Risa

Shoji and her both got 3rd place, Zijun won against Risa in the tie

breaker round winning 3rd instead of 4th and Risa went home with 4th

place. Zijun brought home 2 silver medals at the Junior Grand Prix

which made her qualified for the Junior grand prix final held in Quebec

City Canada, where she finished 4th. This year she went to the Youth

Olympic Games where she placed 3rd behind Adelina Sotnikova and

Elizaveta Tuktamisheva.
