And as you equip your congregants to make disciples, we are honored to present another way to get your members excited about “The mission.”

We hope your Compassion display will:

• Refresh your congregants’ commitment to Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples.”

• Remind sponsors to write to their sponsored children.

• Encourage people to sponsor children.

• Present missional opportunities to participate, pray and give on behalf of the poor.

Each of the displays (“walls”) described in this catalog can be ordered in your choice of two sizes: 10’ wide x 8’ high or 12’ wide x 8’ high.

in addition, your wall can be either magnetic or non-magnetic. Combined with the ideas in this catalog, these options provide you with a variety of “looks” for customizing your display each month.

TIPs and IdEas Each of these Compassion church walls is designed to be interactive and personalized for your church. Here are some ideas to help you make your display dynamic, and to keep your own church’s sponsors involved:

• Each wall comes with multiple sets of elements, so you can change posters, story cards and stat cards three times a year.

• Child packets need to be changed out every six weeks; make sure you have someone who is monitoring these and can order new packets.

• On the Map Wall, we encourage you to have Compassion sponsors write notes to attach to the wall. These notes can simply state where they sponsor a child, or can list prayer requests for their sponsored child/children.

• On the Wood Panel Wall, you can write different prompts each month on the included dry-erase board. Prompt ideas include:

- “Tell us about your sponsored child” — where new sponsors can write the name and age of their sponsored child, where he or she lives, etc.

- “Pray for my sponsored child” — where sponsors can write prayer requests for their sponsored children.

- “did you know” — you can write a fact about children in poverty and invite church members to participate in a dialogue.

• The Wood Panel Wall and Interactive Wall both have magnetic backings. you can use these to hang pictures of children sponsored by your church family and photos of sponsors meeting their sponsored children.

• any of these walls can be personalized with information about your church, the children sponsored from your church, and information about poverty. These ideas are just a starting point for you as you make this display fit the culture of your congregation!

HOW TO ORdER YOuR CHuRCH Wall Thank you so much for partnering with us to release children from poverty in Jesus’ name. Your church is playing a vital role in this ministry.

By following the ordering instructions below, you can soon have an interactive, educational Compassion display in your church. Please note that the production time for the materials can be up to four weeks, in addition to installation time.

you will need to choose a designated contact person to be the primary contact with the vendor, who will help arrange the wall installation. This person needs to be available during the installation process to let the installation team into the church, answer any questions, and be on hand to help with small details.

insTruCTionsPlease email the following information to your Compassion representative:

1. The name of the wall you prefer.

2. a digital file of your church logo, either a vector graphic/EPs file or an adobe Illustrator file. Please do not send a JPG, BMP or TIFF file.

3. The physical address of the church.

4. A contact person at the church who will work with the vendor to arrange installation details. if possible, we recommend that this person be on the church staff.

Reminder: Production time for your display can take up to four weeks, after which you should allow at least a week to arrange for an installation date. Actual installation time is no more than two days.
