Competition Costume Notes 2019-2020 Season
ALL COMPETITION TEAM STUDENTS WILL WEAR THE FOLLOWING (UNLESS NOTED DIFFERENTLY BY YOUR CLASS):
• HAIR: 2 Dutch braids into a bun, ponytail, or pigtails (see notes). Must be pulled back tight and sprayed. No loose hairs or whispies.
• MAKE-UP: o Eyes - White Eye Pencil, Charcoal Eye Shadow, Black Eyeliner and Black Mascara o Cheeks - Desert Rose Blush o Lips – *NEW COLOR* Winey Lipstick (Red Fuzion is discontinued, okay to use this season if you still have)
§ White Eye Pencil, Charcoal Eye Shadow, Desert Rose Blush and WineyLipstick must be ordered through Expression of Dance, using the order forms provided in this packet. **See attachment on how to properly apply your make-up.
• SHOES: You are to order your competition shoes on your own. Students are expected to have their shoes and begin wearing them to class by December 2nd.
• TIGHTS: Please order 2 pairs of required tights for each of your competition classes, so you have a backup pair at competition.
• UNDERGARMENTS: Nude bra with clear straps. *NO UNDERWEAR IS TO BE WORN WITH ANY COSTUME. • JEWELRY: All jewelry must match. The Rhinestone Earrings must be ordered through Expression of Dance.
