Summary

We have studied several modules of geneticnetworks using deterministic and stochastic methods

The combination of competition, feedback andfluctuations has an important effect on the function ofthese modules. In particular, it gives rise tophenotypic diversity in populations of identical cells.

Current work is aimed at extending the results tomore complex networks
