Finnish Cheerleading Federation welcomes international teams to compete in seven categories: Dance HipHop, Dance Jazz, Cheer Group Stunts and Partnerstunt

Please note that there will not be an official rehearsal. The competition area is 12x12 meters.

REGISTRATION
The last day to sign up for the competition is Tuesday 6th of May 2014 at 16:00. Signing up will be done with the attached “Registration_form” (excel) by filling it and sending it to Finnish Cheerleading Federation by e-mail: [email protected].
Your registration will be confirmed when the e-mail is received. If there are problems with the signing up, please contact FCF office.
COMPETITION FEE Summer Cheer Cup competition fee is part of the ”Participation package” which includes competition fee, official competition t-shirt, buffet lunch on competition day, evening program on competition day and amusement park ticket (free entrance to all equipment) for the next day. Participation package is 75,00 euros per person. Invoices for the packages will be sent to clubs after the reservation time has ended on 7th of April 2014. Additional fees for second category will be invoiced after the competition registration time has ended on 6th of May 2014 unless the registration comes the same time as the order form, then they will be invoiced together. Additional fee for second category participates is 15,00 euros per person. The registered team will get invoices based on the information of order and registration forms. Please note that only registered participates are allowed to enter the back stage and dressing rooms! LICENSE / INSURANCE Please make sure that each competitor, substitute, spotter and coach has a valid sports license and insurance that covers cheerleading sport. The organizer is not responsible of any possible injury during the competition and/or practice time.
LUNCH / MEALS
The competition day buffet lunch is part of the participation package. If you reserve two nights accommodation you will also get a lunch voucher for Sunday, which you can use for paying food in the amusement park’s specified restaurants. The value of the voucher is 8,00 euros. In the area is also several places where to buy food. Breakfast is included for the accommodation packages.
OFFICIAL COMPETITION T-SHIRT The official competition t-shirt is part of the ”Participation package”. Please inform the size of each participant on the order form! Sizes are: adult S - XXL and children 7/8 (122-128cm), 9/11 (134-146cm), 12/14 (152-164cm). T-shirts can be picked up at the Competition office on the competition day on the name of the Team.
COMPETITION DVD Summer Cheer Cup will be recorded on DVD and it will include all competition categories. DVD prices are: - 25 € / piece if the club orders 1-9 pieces - 22 € / piece if the club orders 10 or more pieces If you don’t order the DVD in advance, should the orders be sent to FCF per club 23.06.2014 at the latest by e-mail [email protected]. The postal fee will be added on the order and they will be invoiced from the club in advance. ACCOMMODATION FCF has reserved all PowerPark accommodations for the participants and their entourages. Accommodation classes with prices you will find from the attached “SummerCheerCup_Participation_Accommodation_Packages” excel sheet which you also need to use for the order/reservation of the packages. Accommodations will be booked in the order we receive the reservations. We will always contact you if the order doesn’t meet the availability. All reservations will be confirmed by e-mail. The accommodation has four (4) classes: hotel class, cottage class, camping cottage class and school class. School class is the cheapest and hotel class is the priciest one. Two nights accommodation package includes also 8,00 euros lunch voucher for Sunday. Participation and Accommodation orders must be sent to Finnish Cheerleading Federation by e-mail ([email protected]) on the 7th of April 2014 at the latest. Packages will be invoiced before 11.04.2014.
ARRIVAL / TRANSPORTATION
PowerPark is located in Alahärmä (for example 25 km from Kauhava, 55 km from Seinäjoki, 80 km from Vaasa, 230 km from Tampere and Jyväskylä, 282 km from Oulu, 390 km from Turku and 404 km from Helsinki).

Train is the easiest way to go to PowerPark. We have arranged a bus transportation from Kauhava train station to PowerPark and back – fee is 10,00 euros per person to and from the park total (if there will be enough people to be transported).
For example there is train from Helsinki on the competition day morning at 07:06 and it will be in Kauhava at 11:01. The return train to Helsinki could be for example on Sunday the 15th of June leaving Kauhava at 18:54 and it will be in Helsinki at 22:52.

SIDESHOWS
Competition day will end to a party where a Finnish boy band will be playing and the ticket is included in the participation package.
Sunday morning will start with playful Carting race for cheer clubs (PowerPark arranges) and one representative per club can participate the race (minimum 150 cm tall and 18 years old). At 11 the Amusement park will open! There is also area for making cheer stunts and show your cheer skills for all park visitors
Your competition wristlet will be changed to the amusement park wristlet when entering the amusement park – do not remove it before that!
