The waterworks in Kronstadt, with 36,000 m3 potable water capacity, is the smallest of a series of waterworks surroun-ding the Russian metropolis of St. Petersburg. Since 2003 these waterworks have been converted from disinfection withchlorine gas to the far safer sodium hypochlorite. ProMinent partnered the waterworks during the transition.
