The Basics are the foundation upon which the entirety of Dianetics and Scientology rests, containing the fundamentals, underlying principles and axioms that form the basis of all subsequent developments. Study of the Basics Books, done in the org or as an extension course, is a prerequisite for and credited toward auditor training checksheets in both the Academy and Solo Auditor courses. The chronological study of both Basics Books and Lectures provides a complete grounding in the subject and an effortless comprehension of all further studies in Scientology.

The Congresses are the milestones, the landmarks, the legendary LRH lectures wherein he announced his latest monumental breakthroughs and triumphs along the developmental path of research. The Congresses contain the successive landmark discoveries and developments subsequent to the Basics. While the Professional and Advanced Clinical Courses (ACCs) are LRH’s instruction to auditors, the Congresses are his presentations to all Scientologists, each series representing a full body of tech for application in life. Congresses may be listened to individually, but the benefits of a full chronological study of the Congresses after the Basics are beyond measure.

The Professional and ACC Lectures are the day-by-day record of research and development. Here are Ron’s in-depth instructions and demonstrations to auditors on the application of the breakthroughs announced in Congresses. As a complete series, these lectures are best studied chronologically after the Basics. However, since they are the wellspring for the bulk of today’s auditing processes, they also form an indispensable body of reference material for trained auditors and, in this wise, can be studied individually to learn the whys and wherefores of every specific process or technical subject—data never before available and found nowhere else.

The Chronological Study is the complete sequential path of discovery.
