COLLABORATION WITH HARPER WOODS SCHOOL DISTRICT SUPPORTS A LADDEREDAPPROACH TO COMPLETION!This past year, Harper Woods School Superintendent, Mr. Todd Biederwolf,Dr. Sandra Robinson, and Dr. Ron Harkness began working on a newapproach to high school/community college completion. The HarperWoods School District asked for our help in identifying and providingtwo different career tracks that allow their students to complete a degreeby the time they exit high school. As a result, WCCCD now has aligned

both the Digital Media Program and Medical Office Specialist Program to accommodate dually enrolled student availability. We are excited about the opportunities that now exist for over 60 students in the Harper Woods School District and lookforward to celebrating their program completion in the next few years.

NEW PROGRAMS, NEW FACULTY!One of the exciting things that occurs with the launch of new programs is that we also get the opportunity to bring in new faculty. Our goal is to introduce new programs with experts in the field who have current, hands-on experience in the workplace.

We are very fortunate to have two such individuals instructing in our ProductDevelopment and Prototyping (3-D Printing) Program at the Eastern Campus. Kevin Jonatzke and Brad Van Dike both come to us with years of experience in 3-D design, additive manufacturing, and CAD operations. Our students willbenefit from the introduction and hands-on application that both Mr. Jonatzke and Mr. Van Dike can provide. Please welcome Kevin and Brad to our institution!
