The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Framework Self-audit Tool is designed to beused by allied health teams to enhance the role and work practices of AHAs withinservices. The self-audit tool comprises a series of questionnaires that map the eightcomponents of the AHA Framework against the current status of AHA servicedelivery in a particular work unit, team, service or Hospital and Health Service(HHS). It is recommended for use in line with the particular HHS's nominatedPerformance Development Plan (PDP) process. Applying the self-audit tool should be considered a collaborative, team-basedactivity with contributions generally required from AHAs, supervising allied healthprofessionals (AHPs) and operational and/or clinical line managers.
