The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Framework Self-audit Tool is designed to be used by allied health teams to enhance the role and work practices of AHAs within services. The self-audit tool comprises a series of questionnaires that map the eight components of the AHA Framework against the current status of AHA service delivery in a particular work unit, team, service or Hospital and Health Service (HHS). It is recommended for use in line with the particular HHS's nominated Performance Development Plan (PDP) process. Applying the self-audit tool should be considered a collaborative, team-based activity with contributions generally required from AHAs, supervising allied health professionals (AHPs) and operational and/or clinical line managers. The Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Framework Self-audit Tool is designed to beused by allied health teams to enhance the role and work practices of AHAs withinservices. The self-audit tool comprises a series of questionnaires that map the eightcomponents of the AHA Framework against the current status of AHA servicedelivery in a particular work unit, team, service or Hospital and Health Service(HHS).
