comptia launches open access model
DESCRIPTION
CompTIA, the non-profit association for the IT industry, unveiled a new open access model that dramatically will change how businesses and individuals interact with, leverage and perceive CompTIA. Designed to advance the IT industry and help make channel partners more successful, CompTIA’s new open access model consists of three game-changing moves. 1. A no-cost level of engagement called “registered user” that gives individuals access to select high-quality channel education, industry research, news and tools designed to help channel partners achieve their business goals. 2. An enhanced and expanded membership tier called “premier member”, which is made available only to solution providers, vendors and distributors, and companies serving the IT channel. CompTIA premier members receive exclusive business tools and priority access to all of CompTIA’s research, training and education resources. All current CompTIA members automatically receive premier member status. 3. A re-designed, mobile-friendly website that will go live in June 2014 and make it easy for registered users and CompTIA premier members to find what they’re looking for, engage with CompTIA and interact with others within the association.TRANSCRIPT
