Salt is added to the pool water at 0.35% salt content. The slightly salinated water then passes through the electrolytic cell and this produces chlorine gas which prevents algae and purifies the pool or spa.

HOW DOES IT WORK? WHY SALTWATER CHLORINATION?

Salt chlorination provides highly effective sanitisation performance without the drawbacks of expensive chlorine compounds, so you will no longer need to buy, transport, store or handle chlorine products, thus eliminating spills, accidents and costs. Due to the chlorine being pure, the odour, stinging eyes and irritated skin caused by additives in packaged chlorine are eliminated. Now safer, crystal clear water has never been easier.
