Managing Student Login Info

Option #1 –Teacher retains all login information and logs each student in.

Option #2 –Each students logs in himself/herself

Process for Student Login/out

1. Make sure browser is entirely closed out from any previous session before logging a student in.

2. Make sure teacher or student selects “logout” when the session is complete.

**If a student does not log out completely, the next student will open the former student’s account unknowingly.

Monitor Students In Lab

– Assign seats as opposed to allowing students to choose seating

– Monitor screens to ensure that student name on Blackboard matches student at computer.

– Circulate throughout the lab– Know what students are supposed to be doing– If students have their own login information, make

sure it is not left out for others to see.
