Chart OverviewUnderstanding that providers vary in their preferences for documentation of patient visits, SuccessEHS

has designed a flexible application with multiple methods for inputing information. This includes Chart-Like templates that can be customized to your practice as well as a dictation based Speech Recognition

system (see Speech Recognition tab). This flexibility means that all providers in a practice can utilize the system in their own way so that the system adapts to their practice rather than dictating it.

Speech RecognitionNuane SpeechMagic by Phillips is an industrial grade speech recognition technology. With this feature

added into your doctors workflow, they are able to use familiar methods to efficiently document the patient encounter. With options to either review and correct the notes themselves before submitting or to send to a correctionist for editing, they can easily transcribe a visit and have it correctly documented

before signing off and submitting to the patient record. The technology is hosted on a central server, eliminating the need to install resource-intensive applications. Additionally, the transcribed notes can

be reviewed from any PC with internet connectivity.

Clinical Event ManagerThe CEM is a software tool that helps providers to monitor best practice guidelines and clinical

protocols. The CEM alerts providers when patients are not compling with guidelines and protocols to assist in tracking compliance and measuring quality of care. Cem also provides you with patient

population statistics for participation in DOQ-IT initiatives and Pay for Performance programs.

Clinical ConsoleThe Clinical Console provides staff with a customized and organized view of critical clinical functions. From staff schedules to patient tracking, encounter documentation, and telephone calls as well as sign

offs and follow up operations- the Console helps clinical staff stay organized and efficient. Key features highlighted:

Patient Tracking- Information such as who and where your next patient is, the patients wait time, labs, x-rays, and other activies.

Inter-office Communication- Flags and Phone Calls allow you to take advantage of time between encounters. Clinical staff can review and manage flagged orders, results, and phone messages.

Automatically date, time and user-stamp each message. All phone messages are instantly added to the patient's health record.

Chart Summary- View a personalized overview of the patient's chart before you walk into the exam room. With one click, you can view a summary of the patient's chart including: allergies, problems,

current medications, previous notes, labs, vitals, and more. Encounter Documentation- Based on the visit type, easily record information including: Clinician

triage for vitals, RoS and chief complaint, past history, discreet data documentation using MEDCIN, Speech to text with SpeechMagic, the ability to pend documentation for later review and sign-off.

Clinical Knowledge BaseSuccessEHS has embedded the MEDCIN knoledge base into their EHR solution. This provides the

clinician with an additional option for documenting progress notes. There are many benefits to this system, including availability of researchable clinical data, E&M coding, and legible narrative notes

with customized forms. MEDCIN includes: Researchable data- More than 280,000 clinical data elements covering symptoms, history and physical, examination, tests, diagnosis, and therapy. Encode virtually the entire clinical encounter with

access to the clinical database. E&M Coding- Most providers undercode, leaving much needed revenue on the table. MEDCIN

allows providers to code conifdently with an advisor that suggests an appropriate code based on the extent of your documentation. The E&M Code Advisor uses the 1995 or 1997 CMS Guidelines, Factors

in time spent with the patient, Provides summary details for review on each E&M Component, and automatically populates your charges and updates your chart with vital information as you click your

way through the visit. Intelligent Prompting- With more than 68 million links throughout the data elements, each term

within the knowledge base is supported with clinical relevance to other terms. MEDCIN's Intelligent Prompting tables provide a means for displaying only clinically relevant items, offers differential

diagnoses based on documenation, and are searchable for on the fly documentation needs. Interoperability- MEDCIN's codified knowledge base is essential for providers concerned

with interoperability or providers who choose to participate in studies. MEDCIN is a recognized nomenclature used by the US Department of Defense and 13 commercial vendors with data element

maps to SNOMED-CT.

ePrescribing

Send and refil prescriptions electronically with the ePrecribing feature of SuccessEHS. Certified by

Surescripts as a Solution Provider, the SuccessEHS ePrescribing feature allows you to send and refil

prescriptions electronically.

Order Tracking & Management

Orders for Path/Labs, Consults, Immunizations, Radiology, and Procedures are all easily submitted and reviewed

with SuccessEHS. Organize your orders, provide automated audit trails, review and sign off results, and track deferred orders with ease through the MEDCIN,

eSuperbill, or the Orders tab.

Patient Relationship Management

Increase your productivity, revenue, and health outcomes while freeing office staff time. The Patient Relationship Management feature includes:

Patient Portal- Allow patients to request appointments, update their demographic information, request a prescription refills, and ask questions of nursing staff.

Rules-based Scheduling- Allow your administrative staff to determine scheduling rules for both providers and office equipment. Based on provider preferences, rules-based scheduling helps maximize

the practice's efficiency and reduce patient wait time. Customer-defined Data- Allowing an unlimited number of user-defined data fields to capture

Information volume of a medical image differs depending on the modality which creates the image. When installing monitors in your hospital, it is important to select a monitor which suits the medical images.
