Reference: e-PrescriptionClalit, the world’s 2nd largest HMO, provides medical services to over 4M customers.Provision of paper prescriptions required patients to visit their doctors; Surveys showthat 60-70% of patient prescription request don’t require any physical checkup.
The Challenge:Moving to e-prescriptions by also providing digital certificates to all of the HMO’s Doctors.
The solution:Integration of the ComSignTrust SIGNER-1, enabling more than 3,000 doctors to e-sign prescriptions and make them available to the HMO’s pharmacies.
Results: 1,300 clinics have adopted the new service and are now saving considerable time, resources ,
paper, and improving customer satisfaction Eliminating close to 100% of prescription forgery by using secured prescriptions Saving time for doctors and enabling them to treat urgent matters; results show 40 seconds of
doctors’ time are saved by each e-Prescription he sends out.
