Up to 50% less water for WCs.Under the Water Regulations, newinstallations of WC bowls must have amaximum flush volume of 6 litres. Thefollowing is a comparison of watersaving potential based on an averagehousehold of 4 persons. Each personuses the toilet 5 times per day, 1 fullflush and 4 short flushes. With a historical 7.5 litre cistern, 150 lit-res of water is flushed per day, the year-ly consumption is thus 54,750 litres.The dual flush 6 / 3.5 l technology is alsoavaliable in rapid frames.

Important notes for Installers

There are options for different installa-tion height requirements with productsranging from 0.82 m to 1.2 m. The small wallplates, 156 x 197 mmwill provide comfortable access to theinternal serviceable components.Maintenance and servicing is madeeasy by the location of the isolatingvalve behind the wallplate.

GROHE offers a range of concealedcisterns with access plates whichare suitable for floor standing back-to wall and wall mounted WCs.Front access brings a new dimen-sion to bathroom design. Now you are able to incorporatethe GROHE concealed cistern in the bathroom as an integral co-ordinated accessory. You no longerhave to accept the compromise ofdesign access through a panel or a service duct. Seamless surfacescombined with co-ordinated designenhance the look of your bathroom.GROHE is setting new standardswith its Dual Flush technology forconcealed cisterns. Using existingGROHE air button technology, wehave integrated this in to the designand access features of GROHEwallplates. At only 156 x 197 mmyou can make a big impressionwith coordinated wall plates, Atrio,Tenso, Ectos and Chiara. All servi-ceable components are hidden andare accessible through the wallplate(see page 22 to 23).

One of the most frequently asked questions concerningour Rapid frame system is just how strong are they?As you´d expect from GROHE all our products are sub-jected to the most stringent and complicated testingcycles and our frame systems are no exception. The Rapid systems are tested to 400 kilos.

Rapid SL for front wall installation allows individual bathroom design and is a complete installation system.

The assembly is exceptionally quick,the elements can be unpacked and put straight on to the wall. Not onlydoes this save time but it also savesmoney. Rapid SL provides three diff-erent installation heights 1.2 metre,1.0 metre and 0.82 metre. Corner mounting with 0.82 or

The WC actuation plates are advantageously small: only 156 mm by 197 mm. All GROHE wall plates offer pneumatic actuation now for easy actuation and simple installation. The universal discharge valve gives the opportunity for the user to decide according to his respective needs: single flush or dual flush (small flush volume). WC wall plates which go perfectly with the GROHE fitting series Chiara, Ectos, Atrio and Tenso provide undisturbed decorative harmony in the bathroom. Coordinated design which you will only find from GROHE.

Top design gives the technology a chance to shine: Surf, Skate and Coordinated Design.
