In conclusion, my research yielded much information regarding HIV/AIDS. This disease affects people of all ages and races; however, the homeless population is more often affected due to drug use and lack of medical care. Several organizations have even resorted to controversial methods of prevention, such as passing out clean needles at homeless shelters. Most experts agree that the most effective way to battle this disease is through education. The more people understand how to prevent this epidemic, the sooner HIV/AIDS will be a disease of the past.
