• The Union has been calling for anonymous marking for the last eight years.
• 71% of UEA stu-dents are in favour of anonymous marking.
• Cambridge, York and Bath already have systems of anony-mous marking
• The University Sen-ate (its highest deci-sion making body) passed a resolution calling for equality through anonymous marking.
• The University’s offi-cial position on anony-mous marking is that it will be introduced for all coursework in September 2008.
