CPEN-Canada Chapter Gale Turnbull, Chair

January 1, 2008 CPEN-Canada became the first Chapter of CPEN!

Along with many members, CPEN-Canada added a new Survivorship sub-committee to CPEN.


Established a more formal collaboration with the Canadian Cancer Society. CPEN-Canada received a donation from them to support our work.


Goals for 2008-09 Refresh CPEN-Canada Website Create stronger alignment and involvement in

key national strategies and organizations (e.g., Canadian Partnership Against Cancer and Canadian Association of Psychosocial Oncology) to further the patient education agenda.
