Clearly, this is an ambitious plan with goals that will significantly affect not only our nation’s

education and business communities, but our society as a whole. Our success, however,

depends on the investment of time and resources of those businesses and organizations that

will ultimately enjoy the benefits that a selection of well-trained, industry professionals will

The National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners, Inc. was founded more than

twenty years ago, created as a nonprofit organization dedicated to the training

needs of African American Meeting Planners and Association Executives.

An educational conference is held annually. Our goal during this conference is to

provide valuable content, new, cutting-edge information and to facilitate

meaningful networking opportunities.

Through education and mentoring, we want to provide the best tools for our members

to succeed and further their careers.

NCBMP is also committed to community through our Outreach Program designed to

support the local community hosting our conferences. It is always our goal to leave

a footprint behind, one that will have an impact not just economically, but also

socially in the destination selected.

NCBMP made its first investment in me 25 years ago

when I was a sophomore at the University of

Houston-Conrad Hilton College of Hotel and

Restaurant Management. For 15 years as a supplier

and now 10 years as a meeting planner and leader in

the Organization, the mentoring I have received and

subsequently modeled has been paramount in

establishing my firm’s reputation for integrity and the

highest quality of service. The relationships I have

garnered along the way have resulted in millions of

dollars to my employers’ and clients’ coffers and win-

win experiences with cities world-wide.

Planner Partner ProgramHow the Program HelpsThe Planner Partner program helps provide opportunities for qualified planners to

attend the annual conference, many for the very first time. The program will uplift

NCBMP and build the membership, one qualified planner at a time.

How the Program Works

The Planner Partner Program will pair qualified planners with sponsors. Each planner is

identified, researched, qualified and offered the opportunity to participate in our

sponsorship program. When you sponsor a planner you are provided with a dossier

complete with biographical information on the organization and the planner, a

current overview and RFP of their meetings prior to the conference. Additionally you

are provided an introduction opportunity prior to the membership at the VIP

Sponsorship Reception.

You have the opportunity contact your planner prior to the conference via email and

make a in house delivery of your materials upon their arrival.
