Terms & Conditions
Your booking with Rydges Hotels Ltd (“Rydges”) is subject to the following Terms & Conditions:
Tentative Bookings
Will be held for a period of fourteen days only, after which time the booking can be released by Rydges and the room made available to other
interested parties.
Confirmation and Deposit
Written confirmation and a 10% deposit is due at time of booking. Tentative bookings not confirmed within 14 days will be made available to
other clients. Rydges Snowy Mountains Resort has the right to cancel tentative bookings not confirmed within 14 days. Please note that your
booking is not confirmed until the terms and conditions are signed and returned to the relevant Rydges hotel you wish to book and the 10%
deposit has been received.
Payment
Payments can be made in the form of a business direct deposit, credit card or cash.
10% upon booking
50% 30 days prior to arrival
100% - Full Payment is due 14 days prior to arrival.
Note: Additional costs or increase of numbers are to be paid at the completion of your function.
Final Numbers
Final numbers are required fourteen days prior to the function and charges will be based on these, minimum numbers or on final head count,
whichever is greater.
Accommodation: Any cancellations within the 14 days, all monies will be forfeited. Any amendments within 14 days incur a $55.00 dollar fee.
Please note room lists, name changes and date changes are considered amendments.
Cancellations and Refunds
In the event of cancellation by the client, all monies paid will be forfeited to Rydges. Deposits are non-transferable.

0-14 Days No Refund
If Rydges is unable to proceed with your booking due to any reason beyond Rydges’ reasonable control (e.g. fire or flooding), then Rydges has
the right to cancel your booking and Rydges will return your deposit. Rydges will have no further liability for such cancellation.
Surcharges
Should your function extend past five hours, a room hire surcharge minimum of $500.00 per hour or part thereof may apply. To extend your
beverage package, please contact the Conferencing & Events Manager.
Public Holiday and Sundays: A 15% Food and Beverage Surcharge applies for Public Holidays and Sundays
Credit Card and Service Fees
A service fee of 1.08% is charged on payments made with VISA or MasterCard and Amex.
Minimum Numbers
Please note that minimum numbers will apply to our packages and menus. Should your numbers fall below our minimum, please ask us about
alternative package and menu options. Minimum numbers are based on full paying adults only. Children and teenagers are additional to this.
Rooms Release
Any accommodation rooms not confirmed 30 days prior to arrival will be released unless client guarantees full payment for these rooms.
Security
Rydges will not accept responsibility for the loss or damage to any equipment or property left on the premises prior to, during, or after the
function.
Fire, Light & Safety
Rydges reserves the right to adjust any set-up to ensure fire, light and safety codes are met.

Compliance
Clients will be responsible to ensure the orderly behaviour of their guests and Rydges reserves the right to intervene where it sees fit. To ensure
compliance with its Responsible Service of Alcohol obligations, Rydges reserves the right to refuse service to anyone suspected of being
intoxicated. In addition, Rydges will not serve alcohol to any external contractors hired by the Event Booker e.g. Photographers or Band
Members.
The client is expected to conduct their function in a legal and respectable manner. The client is responsible, and will be charged for, any
damages that occur to the property or its staff. We assume no responsibility for the loss or damage of any property belonging to the client or
their guests. A 15% Food and Beverage Surcharge applies for Public Holidays and Sundays. All Functions will be required to end by 12.am, should
a function run past the 12am the Resort has at its discretion to charge $300 per every hour or part there of that a function goes over.
Approvals
Clients must ensure that all external contractors hired (e.g. photographers or band members) have all necessary licences and approvals to
undertake the relevant activity. Clients must also obtain Rydges’ written consent before any third party goods, equipment or food/beverage
items are brought onto the hotel premises.
Damages
You agree to indemnify Rydges for all loss, harm, cost or expense resulting from any damage to any Rydges property or injury to any Rydges staff
during the function, caused by any guests or other persons attending the function. Rydges’ maximum total liability in connection with any claims
relating to the function will not exceed the total fees paid to Rydges for the function.
Other Functions
Rydges reserves the right to book other functions in the same function room up to two hours before the scheduled function commencement time
and one hour after the scheduled function finishing time. Additionally, Rydges reserves the right to book other functions in adjoining rooms at
any time.
Exclusive Use of Restaurant
Receptions and functions for less than 50 guests cannot be guaranteed exclusive use of Embers Fireside, Squires Bar, McEvoy’s Lounge or the
Bistro.
External Contractors
Rydges is not responsible in any way for the behaviour or co-ordination of any external service provider hired by the client i.e. photographers or
entertainers. You hereby agree to release and indemnify Rydges from all such claims.
Liquor Licence
Responsible Service of Alcohol measures as set out in the Liquor Act will be adhered to at all times. No BYO alcohol or beverages for any function.
Prices and Menus
All accommodation & catering prices are valid only for the dates listed and are subject to availability. Whilst every effort is made to maintain
prices, they may be subject to alteration prior to your function. All menus are seasonal and are subject to change. No outside catering is to be
brought into any function without prior approval from Rydges Snowy Mountains.
Delivery and Collection of Goods
Any delivery or collection of goods must be prearranged with the Conference & Events Supervisor. Any goods left on the premises must be
collected after the function.
Insurance
It is the client’s responsibility to take out their own insurance for all items belonging to them for the period those items are in the Hotel.
