You can start a task manually if you want to run the task immediately.

• Click Start. In the Start Search text box, key Task Scheduler, and then press Ctrl + Shift + Enter.

• Provide administrator credentials, and then click OK. The Task Scheduler console appears.

Find the task that you want to start in the Task Scheduler Library, right-click it, and then click Run.

To run a task manually, you need to select the Allow task to run on demand check box.

Creating a Basic Task

You can quickly create a simple task by using the Create Basic Task Wizard.

Open Task Scheduler.

• In the Action menu, select Create Basic Task.

• In the Name text box, provide a name for the task.
