• Jordan and I chose to film the desk section of our opening scene at this desk due to a multitude of reasons. One of those being the visible iconography I have highlighted in the photograph; the Great Britain flag cup coaster reminds the audience that the film is set in the UK. It is important to remind the audience of this aspect since the film is based around the English police department as well as UK politics.

• Another reason why we chose this desk and not say another one in the office is because of the space surrounding it. Sadly I did not take a photograph of the desk from a distance, but there was roughly a two meter radius of space from the desk which allowed for easy filming and movement during the filming day.
