Conflagration

Some weeks ago, was happened a conflagration in my house. Exactly in my bathroom.

It was began at a night, it was 08.00 p.m, at the time, i wanted to take a bath, but the lamp in the bathroom was off maybe cause a damage. So, in a pinch i used a candle to replace the lamp. But i forgot to put a cover under the candle. And one thing that makes me felt really dumm was i put the candle above a plastic mirror.

Six hours after it, exactly at 02.00 a.m, where it was still midnight, suddenly something makes a sound like a bomb, the sound came from the bathroom. I was shocked cause of it, but i was too tired to opened my eyes. So, i kept sleeping. Even don’t knew about what was happened out there.

Not long after it, my brother hammered on my door while screaming “Wikha! Get out from your room! Something happen in the bathroom!”

So, i opened the door. And how shocked am i out there, all that i can saw was smoke, very difficult to saw anything else. I was very panic, so i can’t control what am i doing. I knew the smoke cames from the bathroom, i was thinking to go to saw what happened in the bathroom, but my brother prevent, “Are you crazy? It’s danger there!”

I murmur cause i was unsatisfied, but after thinking, i felt what my brother said was right. So i go to my parents and my sisters rooms to woke them up.

They were confused with what am i do at a midnight like that, more about why there’s smoke everywhere. After explain a little bit about what happened, my father and my brother checked the bathroom. After that, we all knew why that were happened. All because the candle!

I was forgot to slew the candle! And the candle makes the plastic mirror under the candle molten, and then, the candle fell to the portex beside the closet, the chemical subtance in the portex makes the closet and the portex blew up. That’s why there’s sound like a bomb before it. Cause the explosion, make the closet pierced.

I felt really guilty about knowing all it, i can’t believe just cause my carelessness makes a big amount of loss in my house.
