Designer should understand the developers quality and ability.
Designers are the planners. Rest of the workflow depends on your plan, design and the user experience whatever.
Make things simple, avoid complexity because everyone may not think the same ;)
For web design what make the developer irritate
Placing gradient in border.This is a bad idea.
Make it simple but interactive
Unorganized PSD Layers
Isn’t it good?
Designing something which isn’t possible to code
(we aren’t talking about hacking or exception)
Clear the events
Use SVG Icons as many as possible (best for any display)
Use high quality image which developer can use
Somebody use Illustrator to design webpage
(Photoshop is most popular, we should use it)
Adding non-editable Text (raster image)
Use Free web Font
Use Free font available for web
Better use google font or any font which has proper license for web use
Mention the font name and address where to find.
Super Huge File Size
Remove unnecessary images from PSD
You can compress it to transfer easily
Do everything to make it light
You know developers are use to make lightweight things ;)
Responsive flow
Abnormal Flow doesn’t be appreciated
Suggest your client better option
