The Congo Rainforest is located in central Africa containing one of the longest rivers in the world. It covers a lot of the northern part of Congo. It has a area of 1.5 million mile squared. It receives a high rainfall with the average of Tropical Rainforest’s climate is hot and humid. The soil is not known to have many nutrients, because they get washed away in all the rain.

It’s Geography

Today the African rainforest is home to some of the most celebrated tribal people, the so-called Pygmies of the Ituri forest in northern Zaire. The tallest of these people, known as the Mbuti, rarely exceed 5 feet (1.5 m) in height. Besides the Mbuti, there are three other major rainforest peoples of Africa: the Aka (Central African Republic and northern Congo), the Baka (southern Cameroon), and the Twa (central Zaire River basin). Their main occupation generally primary.

It’s people

PYGMIES

About 60 million people in central Africa have a close relationship with the rainforest, and some of them depend on it for food, shelter, and medicine. Like other rainforests, the Congo Rainforest is a biodiversity hotspot, inhabited by forest elephants, hippopotami, three species of great ape (gorillas, chimpanzees, and bonobos), civets, the bongo (an antelope), duikers (another antelope), the Hartebeest (antelope) etc. The natural wonders are so rich that five national parks in the Congo Rainforest are listed as UN World Heritage Sites. In total, the rainforest has more than 11,000 species of plants, 450 mammals, 1,150 birds, 300 reptiles, and 200 amphibians.

WHAT IS

BETTER

USA OR CONGO??

Relationships betweenCONGO And USA

There are a lot of differences rather than similarities between Congo and USA. Congo is more like home of primitive people while Americans can’t even think to live without technology. But, Congo has far cleaner air than heavily polluted USA

OR

What is moreFavourable ?

(review by my friend)According to my friend, it is USA which is more favourable. The technology now can’t come in the mind of people of 1800s. The standard of living and the infrastructure are also the aspects which changed people’s lives

What is more favourable?

(By me)

According to me, comparing with many aspects to consider, it is difficult to tell. I think of a world having both the place’s strength. USA’s technology, good standard of living and Congo’s pollution-free natural environment, having variety of species and people’s cultural and spiritual belief. These aspects will help humanity for a long race.
