    15th District Junior Athletics Meet 2017 (Category U-14, Boys) was held wherein students of class VIII won medals in the High Jump event.

    Abhinav Sharma bagged a gold medal, Sarthak Singh won a silver medal and bronze medal was bagged by Yash Nigam.


    15th District Junior Athletics Meet 2017 (Category U-16, Girls) was held wherein students of class IX won medals in the 1000m Race.

  • Supreet Kaur bagged a gold medal and Aditi Rohtagi won a silver medal.


    Devanshi Dhama, IXE won two gold medals (10 M Junior and 10M Youth) in 37 North Zone Shooting Championship Pistol 2017, New Delhi.

  • Akarshan Mishra, class IX G secured the first position in HACKATHON 2017, BREACH THE FIREWALL event held at IMS, Ghaziabad on November 1. He was awarded with a trophy, a certificate and prize money of Rs. 2,500.

    Delhi Public School Ghaziabad organized the annual cultural extravaganza titled Ekaa Durga Stuti

    on 26th and 27th November, 2017.

    The Honourable Guests Mr Anil Swarup, IAS, Secretary, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of School Education and Literacy; Mr Ranber Singh, Regional Officer,

  • CBSE, RO, Dehradun; Mr. Om Pathak, Founder & Chairman, DPSG Society; Ms Niharika Pathak, Chairperson, DPSG Society; Mr R.K.Sharma, Director, Administration & Secretary DPSG Society graced the occasion on 26th November, 2017. Mr Ram Kumar, IPS, Inspector General of Police, Meerut Range; Mr Anshul Pathak, Vice Chairman & Treasurer, DPSG Society were among the other esteemed guests. Principal, Ms Jyoti Gupta in her address stated that the ethos of the school rests in the strong

    sense of standing together as a family, to encourage the students to dream big so that they

    develop valuable life skills and become independent, resilient and confident individuals. Stating

    his vision for the school, Mr. Om Pathak, stated that the school aims to have a more vibrant

    connect with the community and the parents. He also stated that the school caters to the needs

    of the society by equipping its students with confidence, discipline and decision making ability to

    act and achieve their goals. He also emphasized on the need for a dynamic education process

    and urged the youth to dream big to achieve substantial.

    The programme commenced with the auspicious lighting of the lamp by the Honourable Guests and the Management Members of the DPSG Society. Thereafter, the students of Senior Wing presented the annual report listing the year long achievements of the institution in various fields. The cultural fiesta witnessed participation of students from classes VII, VIII, IX & XI. The home

    enterprise, a theatrical dance drama Ekaa Durga Stuti mesmerized the audience with unmatched

    synchrony, rhythm and finesse. It reverberated with the message that we all are born with innate

    powers, and with this power comes the responsibility to be accountable for how we manifest our

    power through our thoughts and actions.

    The programme was a grand success. Ms Krishna Singh, Headmistress, Secondary wing proposed

    the vote of thanks.

    6th Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists 2017 was held in Kathmandu, Nepal wherein Viral Gupta, VIII H was the proud recipient of the Special Award for his project - The Lime Based Air Purifier. The event was held from November 1 to November 5


    XIX CBSE Cluster Athletics Meet was held at Blue Birds International School, Amroha wherein students from DPSG bagged four gold medals and five silver medals in various events.

    An Inter School Debate competition (Hindi) was held at Ramjas Inter School wherein Somya Mawai won the Best Speaker prize. She has also qualified for the Final Round. The event will be held on 1st December,2017 at New Delhi.

    Devanshi Dhama, class IX won a bronze medal in 21st All India Kumar Surender Sing Inter School Shooting Championship in Sunbeam Academy in Varanasi.

  • Visit by French Delegates

    French delegates, Ms. Gwenaelle Mazur, Faculty, English and Mr. Jean Philippe, Faculty, Mathematics along with 23 students from Lyce Lebrun, Coutance (Normandie) visited Delhi Public School Ghaziabad, India from October 26, 2017 to November 8, 2017. They visited the Indian Partner School as a part of the ongoing exchange programme. The tour included French students attending classes in school with their respective partners, visit to New Delhi, Old Delhi, Agra and Jaipur. The French students participated not only in Yoga classes but also in the

  • Tinkering lab activities. They also participated in various sports events like football, soccer, basketball and badminton. The students learnt about Indian culture, traditions and lifestyle from Indian families.

    On the day of farewell both Indian and French students presented Ganesh Vandana, French students and teachers shared their experience with the help of power point presentation. A surprise dance performance by the French students enthralled the audience.

    The Exchange Programme was a truly wonderful experience for all the students who were a part of it. It enriched them with experiences that they would always cherish and memories they would always treasure.

    Geo Fest was held at Lucknow wherein Gracy Gupta, VIIIB, Riddhi Sharma, VIIIE secured third position in Geo Toons; Arushi Singhal, XIH, Vanshika Jain, XI CS got a consolation prize in Model Display. Sankalp Saxena was selected for the final round of Geo Talk. 78 schools participated from all over the world in this event.

    When people of a country cease, their vigilance, evil men prevail

    Preservation of peace and the guaranteeing of mans basic rights and freedom makes internal vigilance: Courage to act and speak, if necessary, to suffer and die for truth and justice.

    Keeping this in mind, a Special Assembly on VIGILANCE was conducted on the 3rd November, 2017 by the students of Secondary Wing. Information about the day was given to the students through a poem, role play and quiz. Mrs. Ritu Tiwari, Scientific Officer in Indian Pharmo Copia was the Special Guest for the day. Speaking on the occasion, she enlightened the students on how vigilance can be observed. A pledge on being vigilant was also administered. Delhi Public School Ghaziabad joins the nation for accomplishing the vision: Corruption Free India.

In a series of Inter School Competitions held at Uttam School, Ghaziabad, on 13th of October 2017, Hammad Khan of class VIII D, Garv Nangia of class VIII E, Ishan Blest of class VIII A and Aakash Verma of class VIII F won III prize in Make Music with Nature ( Band Competition). Veeha Gupta of class VII E and Kanika Singhal of class VII D won II prize in Illusion (Hand Painting Competition). Gaurika Sachdeva and Sparsh Chaudhary of class IX H won III prize in Floating Art Competition.

  • A delegation from the US, Texas; Ms. Cheryl Harris, Coordinator Advance Academic Studies and Global Initiatives; Mr. Randy Belcher, Principal, Central Junior High School and Ms. Vandana Rajpurohit, Junior High School, Hindi Teacher visited DPSG on 29th November, 2017 for an interactive session with the students. The event started with the lighting of the lamp followed by a melodious rendition by the school choir. The dance performance by students of class IX enthralled the audience .

    Ms Jyoti Gupta, emphasized on the need to empower the future workforce and provide the right kind of learning environment. Various points of common interest were extensively discussed for holistic development of children.
