Unpacking__________________________________________

When unpacking your new Quik Corp Quik Spray unit check thoroughly for any

transport damage, and that all parts, accessories, and extra options ordered have

been included.

1. Aerial/s

2. Transmitter/s

3. Instruction Manuals (Honda, Bertolini, Quik Corp)

4. All accessories as ordered

Warning: READ THIS MANUAL CAREFULLY AND IN ITS

ENTIRETY BEFORE USING THIS UNIT.

Set Up______________________________________________

1. Mount the machine securely by bolting through both mounting lugs located at

the front middle of the two fork lift points. Run a strap through the back upper

tank eye bolts and secure to both sides of the vehicle. THE UPPER TANK

EYEBOLTS ARE NOT TO BE USED TO LIFT THE MACHINE WITH.

LIFTING THE MACHINE IN THIS WAY WILL VOID THE TANK

WARRANTY! Lifting the machine should only be done using the fork lift

channels built into the front machine framework and when the tank is empty of

fluid. Ensure minimum of 50mm clearance from all sides to prevent damage.

2. Fit aerial/s to the aerial mounting base/s.

CAUTION VERY IMPORTANT: Do not over-tighten the aerial/s to aerial

base/s. Finger tight and a nip more is all they need to be attached properly. Any

more than this will cause the coax cable to break in the solder cap of the aerial

base/s severing the connection to the aerial. The result of this will be a radio

range of only 20-30 meters rendering the aerial/s incapable of receiving a signal.

Chain and Sprocket Maintenance Schedule_______________

Chain maintenance for all chain sizes should be lubricated every 2 - 4 months as

needed and checked for tension and wear and replaced when indicated.

40-1 Chain (Standard clutch drive chain on all fully integrated Quik Spray

systems)

Lubricate with WD-40 or similar spray lubrication and remove run off.

Check tension. 10mm-20mm play in the chain is the accepted range. If the

acceptable range is not achievable due to chain stretch, or wear then the 40-1

chain must be replaced with the 40-1 chain con link which attaches one end of

the chain to the other thus forming the loop.

Also check for chain wear and sprocket wear. Replace all sprockets and chain

when wear is more than 20%.
