Write your equations on the lines below. Write your equations in standard form in the left column and in Y= form (for entering on the calculator) in the right column. If you need additional space, write on the back of this paper. Part 2: Have another student enter your equations on a calculator and verify that they work as you intended. Then have that student sign and date on the line below as an affidavit that they have verified your equations. Part 3: Construct a poster drawing of your conic picture. The minimum size is 8.5 x 11 inch paper, but you may create any size larger that you wish. Your drawing of your graphs must be accurate (not a free-hand approximation). Your final drawing (to be turned in) should not have grid-lines; it should only be your picture. Finally, be creative in your presentation—use color or other means to decorate your drawing. Attach this sheet to the back of your drawing to be used for grading. GRADE: ______ Minimum 4 conic sections req’d; max points for using all types (20-40 points) _______ Equations accurate (above) and verified by a fellow student (10 points) _______ Drawing of conic sections is accurate (10 points) _______ Final drawing is neat and without grid-lines.
