Findings● Oral history training can assist librarians and archivists.
● Community-based cultural heritage volunteers are interested in
developing the skills needed to organise and manage their
collections.
● More collaboration is needed between information professionals
and these volunteers to ensure access to information and training
on best practice in order to preserve their collections. 27
