Connecting to VPN and VD via iPad Prerequisites: Your iPad must be configured by a member of the Systems Unit before proceeding.

You will need: Valid JENIE credentials (JENIE ID and password). A mobile device or landline enrolled as your primary authentication device. An Internet-connected computer.

In the Username and Password fields, enter your JENIE credentials.

Click OK.

On your Internet-connected iPad, from the iPad home screen. Tap on Settings..

1. In Settings:

Slide the VPN button to ON.

The VPN Client window opens, presenting an array of authentication options.

In the Response field, enter • a passcode from the DUO app

or hardware token.OR

• a digit corresponding to yourpreferred method ofauthentication.

Push notification to your primary Two-Factor Authentication device

In the Response field, enter 1. Click OK.

On your device, open the DUO app.

A green message bar indicates a login request is waiting. Tap the message bar to respond.

Tap Approve to approve the connection.

6 At the Home screen, tap Horizon.

7 At the bottom of screen, Tap Servers.

At disclaimer screen, tap Accept. 9

In a COOP situation, Tap vdi-west.adu.dcn

Tap LAED Virtual Desktop.

Type JENIE ID and password, verify Domain is ADU and tap Done.

When finished using VMware Horizon view do the following:

13 Tap on TouchPad button.

14 On Virtual Desktop, tap Start button, then Restart button.
